Manoa Valley District Park

Gorgeous trail. Easy and fast. The picture below is a side track towards the end. Definitely recommend. Easy paid parking as well. Be ready to have muddy shoes.

I go to the park for Monday night basketball in the gym. It is run the right way as everyone gets a chance to play even if there are a lot of people there. The person who runs the gym at that time is very nice and welcomes everyone. I haven’t been to the pool but always see happy faces coming from the pool. Probably one of the best run parks on island.

We decided to have a picnic lunch with the kids This was a great place to spread a big blanket and enjoy the shade of the beautiful trees and the sounds of birds while eating and playing with the kids. Great for reading a good book or just taking a nap.

Situated in middle of picturesque Mānoa Valley adjacent to Mānoa Stream and residential homes. Large and spacious community park with well maintained facilities including a gym, swimmimg pool, tennis and basketball courts, facilities for youth baseball. Easy access. Large parking lot at end of Kaʻaipu Ave. Area is very green after rainy season and on sunny days. However it rains often and is sometimes very windy. Gets dusty when baseball infields are raked on windy days.

What a neat hike. The path is slippery in places but very nice treak. There are much harder paths you can take so the hike is adjustable to your skill level.
