Madison Park

Feels really unsafe every time we come here. Lots of vagrants and trash, untrained dogs whose owners struggle to contain them. The playground itself has some nice features but we rarely come here even though it’s the only park within walking distance of our residence. Truly unfortunate.

The surrounding area is definitely sus and there was a distinct stench of weed in the air when we arrived, BUT. This is a genuinely nice park nestled like an oasis in the ghetto. It's been updated since the last posted pics from 4 years ago. I'll be adding new ones! There are musical features, two jungle gyms, one for younger and older kids, crazy monkey bars, a variety of swings including a special needs swing, one close-by ramada with a picnic table, and a spinning ride! There were some interesting characters hanging out in the parking lot, so I definitely wouldn't come after dark, but overall felt decently safe here! Would come again 👍

I love how big the parking lot is. The walking path was nice. However, there was very little shade. Most the trees are palm trees instead of a more shady tree.

Been coming to this park for years and still is a favorite. Plenty of trees, green grass and space. (Public RR- no stall doors or soap)

It use to be a nice park it has pretty much everything, the only bad change is there is a lot of homeless around.
