Lutz Pickleball

Instructor was very nice, very patient, and explained things well. Most of the 1 1/2 hour lesson was spent on dinking, followed by about 20 mins of resets or blocking. Problem was, it was a 1 1/2 hour lesson for which I’d paid $75 and was supposed to focus on « whatever (I) want out of the lesson. ». Well, I certainly hadn’t said anything about dinking or resets. I came with 1 or 2 specific skills I wanted to work on. Completely ignored. My feeling was the instructor has his routine and that was that. Not that I couldn’t use some practice with dinking, but that was not supposed to be the purpose of the lesson.

Bob Lutz suggests tips to improve the game no matter how good we think we are. He is patient, has a mild temperament and is very positive and makes learning fun. The best pickleball coach I have ever had helped me with my game. His home court setting is beautiful.

My husband and I can’t thank and recommend Lutz pickleball enough. From the camps we attended to specialty clinics, group and private lessons we have not only become better players, but smarter players. Warm, welcoming, knowledgeable; the coaching enables players to move from where they are to where they need to be- and where they want to go. If you’re starting out, or ready to progress forward to become the best version of yourself on the court this is where you NEED to go! Family run, in a beautiful setting it is Pickleball Nirvana!!

Beautiful setting, in quiet neighborhood, convenient to highways. We were greeted with warmth and encouragement and managed as a group of 6 through skill drills and game strategies by Todd, the owner. He made sure we understood the rules, developed strong serves, and taught us doubles strategies. We had a great time and came away ready to play when we get home. Amazing vacation activity and ideal for multi generational family fun. No need to be athletic or in great shape, though our motley crew couldn’t leave our competitive nature off the court, the game really evens the playing field between experienced and inexperienced and different ages and athletic shape. We really enjoyed Todd’s dad as well who supported our efforts with extra coaching as well. Great comfortable shaded seating too for anyone who wants to come along and watch. Thank you for such a great experience. We had a 13 yr old, 17 yr old, and two adult couples. Everyone had a blast.
