These top of the line, centrally located courts are on rec center property and are in jeapardy of being closed or relegated to foam ball play due to a lawsuit from a group of neighbors in the Montecito neighborhood above the courts. An easy win/win solution is to cover and light these courts which would allow for nearly year round play - the acoustiblok on the courts currently hold snow longer that almost all courts now anyway and this would solve that problem as well. Picture is shown of one cover option that would contain sound as well as provide privacy for these neighbors. Pleas at the city council meeting mentioning this option were met with in quizzical looks by the city attorney who seems to have no interest in coming up with a win with for the irate neighbors and everyone who loves these courts. A 2 sided cover would not require the city or district to staff these courts, reducing the cost of this addition.

+ Windbreakers + Lights + Parking - Early Closing Hours The sun sets later in the summer, which is when people play pickleball the most. Why would it be reasonable to get lights installed just so you can turn it off an hour after the sun sets during peak usage...

6 outdoor courts. Well maintained and people rotate through quickly so I only have to wait a few minutes between games for a court

Only one thing that I wish the court would open later because by the time we get off work The court close too early for the working people
