I started playing tennis a few months ago, and I’m glad that I started here. They offer intro classes for a good price, and those teach you all of the basics. You can then move to a weekly workout to progress more, which is also fairly priced in my opinion. The indoor court rentals seem a little expensive to me personally, and they tend to be pretty booked out during the winter which means it can be hard to even play sometimes. But all other local courts are more expensive, and they’re just as booked, so I can’t complain too much. It’s workable if you invite a few friends and split the cost. Speaking of which, if you need some new friends taking one of the classes is a good way to find them. They contain a good range of ages. The front desk people are very friendly, and they might even remember who you are if you show up every week. Dwayne, Bao, and all of the other instructors are great. They have a small selection of rackets and other tennis gear to buy if you’re looking for something new. They can handle stringing for you there as well. I think my only real complaint is that I wish there were more instructors and more classes. Maybe this is more of a winter issue and being that they have a small amount of courts, but the classes can be hard to get in to at times. Once you’re in you can keep signing up every week with little issue, but the waitlists can get long, especially the 3.0+ class(es). If you want to improve beyond a 2.5ish level, but can’t afford private lessons like me, you’ll have to find other ways or people to play with outside of classes. If you get into a class, don’t stop going or you’ll likely have a hard time getting in again. I hope that this changes during the warmer months where all of the outdoor courts are available! Overall, 5 stars from me. I would absolutely recommend that anyone new to tennis go here to start playing, and anyone that already plays tennis book courts to play here.

Great place for beginners! I’ve taken a private lesson which was great. Signed up for group beginner lessons as well had my first class today and wasn’t sure what to expect. The class was great! The instructor made it a lot of fun. Highly recommend.

My son started tennis lessons here at the beginning of the summer and loves it so much he's continuing through the school year. The courts are well kept & the staff is amazing. I love that I can pay for his lessons per day instead of being committed to a specific schedule . Their pro shop also has equipment , snacks & drinks which is convenient.

Play there all the time. Best lights around for night play. Small but very useful tennis shop. They do a great job stringing rackets and do so quickly. I've had great experiences with everyone from the manager to the young employees and I always enjoy when Cozette is working. She lights up the place and always shows genuine interest in how our matches went. Lastly, I love supporting a place that offers a reduced rate for what Country Clubs are getting rich off of. What we pay to use the facilities at liberty, to include the indoor courts, pails is comparison to CC costs. I will always support a park that believes in supporting everyone and sets rates that are affordable to all of us. Great Work liberty park tennis and thanks for sponsoring us "yardbirds".

The wife & I are total beginners. Signed up for lessons & now we are hooked. The people are great (players & coaches), the who staff is great. When need, the owner even takes time to teach a beginner class & shares his passion with 1st time players. Outstanding 1st experience with tennis.
