The setting is beautiful for these 4 dedicated recreational pickleball courts built on what was SE Oak Street. Two courts have permanent nets and two require portable nets. There are a number of "issues" with the courts that makes play there extra challenging, possibly dangerous, and not suitable for all players. The curbs are about 3 feet from the side lines, the courts with permanent nets are painted with a slick glossy paint, tree debris is a given (a broom or leaf blower is highly recommended), and then there are the dappled shadows on a sunny day. This location is not really suitable for traditional open play because of the number and quality of the courts but it is possible to have a fun experience if your expectations are not too high.

2 Pickleball courts located on street at Laurelhurst Park. Street is slightly curved, and you may need a broom to clear the courts, but otherwise very nice. Stuck around till dusk, and the street lights didn't turn on -although there are LED street lights here.

Courts are strung along a closed street in the park. Lots of shade from trees make a delightful setting with all the cheerful sounds of folks enjoying themselves.

A couple of cute courts, nestled under a canopy of trees. Perfect setting, easy parking, and a great park literally a few feet way.
