Lafayette Park

I’m visiting SF and found Lafayette Park. It’s such a lovely and peaceful spot! The park is very clean and well taken care of. I loved the dog park and the playground for kids. There are also tennis courts if you want to play. It wasn’t too crowded, so I could just relax and enjoy the fresh air. It’s also in a nice neighborhood in the city.

Gorgeous park to visit! We went for the massive playground while visiting San Francisco. I was able to walk around and it seemed like a great place to walk a dog and take them to the dog park. Also in the park is a beautiful lookout with a view of the city at various points. The highlight was the great playground with multiple different structures and slides for the kids to play on. It was very well maintained. Near the playground was a public restroom which was very well kept as well.

Been coming here since I was a toddler, and still absolutely love relaxing in the sun on the grass at Lafayette! Beautiful green spaces like this are what make this city so one-of-a-kind :) and if you love dogs, there is a non-stop flow of cute pups to see and meet

Great park occupying four city blocks with quite some stuff to offer, including a big playground with fun play structures, open green space and quieter wooded area, a dog play corner (not really a dog park though) and tennis courts hidden behind the trees! It's up the hill like many other SF urban parks, with decent city views, not the best but open and soothing. A nice place to take a break and get some fresh air if you are around.
