The people who play sports here are incredibly loud. This is a public park and that means members of the public who aren't playing sports might want to enjoy some nature and some peace once in a while. They seem to be here almost every day. They really need to be more considerate of the other people in the park who are members of the public who aren't playing sports. Additionally, the new pickleball court makes a lot of noise. And yet a permanent bathroom is just a bridge too far. If you want people to go to parks and stay for more than a nominal amount of time you might need to actually put in a real bathroom and maybe even a water fountain. It's 2025. And because it's 2025 Sacramento should understand that not everyone drives and therefore not everyone wants to go another 3/4 of a mile down the road to Swanston to not hear constant sports noise and to have a bathroom. This area does not have enough parks. I hope the new "empowerment park" to come on BELL avenue has restrooms for humans (corrected to Bell ave-- if it's big enough for the construction workers to have portapotties, there'd better be some for the people using the park). I am sick and tired of fear of the homeless, who also need to excrete every now and then, being used as an excuse to not have easily cleanable stainless steel accessible bathrooms in every park that's larger than a postage stamp. Larkspur is larger than a postage stamp. So is this new park to come. It would also be great if we could have a new park more than once every 30 years. There's definitely a lot of vacant land that the city and county could take over and renovate for the people's usage.

Dogs must be on leash at all times. Keep your dogs on leash if you’re coming to this park

It would be difficult to play tennis on the courts. Good for a stroll. Soccer pitch is poor park quality and baseball diamond is a little better which is mediocre but mowed and usable....a few steps above just dirt. Pond was just drained recently and all vegetation around it just cut down I'm not sure why.
