John's Island Park

Great park with lots to do including disc golf.

The renovations certainly favored the more well funded sports- the baseball fields received the vast majority of upgrades- with the pond, and drainage system it's part of may have gotten as much or more of the funds but as nice as the landscaping around thee pond looks- so nice I can forgive the loss of trees- I am still baffled as to why we cant have a couple of the lovely benches returned- one was on the side further from the road and sat next to a lovely little street lamp. It was a great place to sit and enjoy the parks beauty- and also the most beautiful scene to watch from across the pond as I would walk my dog around the road running through the park.

Really enjoy playing tennis here. There are 5 hard courts and I've never had to wait to play during the morning on weekends. There are a few inevitable cracks in the courts but everything is in good condition. I haven't used them but there are also volleyball nets, frisbee golf and big park areas to walk your dogs. All around a great public park.
