Hilton Head Island Pickleball Club

Played at Adrianna Lane week of October 28, 2024. Courts and waiting area were nice. With 6 courts turnover was fairly quick. There were maybe 35-38 players and wait between games was maybe 10 minutes. Skill level was 3.5-4.0+ with some better players on the one challenge court. About 40% of players were female and they were good. Everybody was friendly and inviting during open play from 9am-1pm.

These are really nice courts (5 regular courts and a separate challenge court) and the people were very nice! The delay between games was long with 4 on, 4 off. I wish they would switch it to a two person off and winners split setup to improve mixing and shorten the wait -- if folks go on as 4 and are evenly matched, other folks are just sitting. It would be nice if the paddle queue was in one area as well vs being split up with one for each court. The wait between games was long.

Spent a morning getting in some great games of PB at the club. Started early in the morning and played for three hours before we realized we’d been there so long. Courts were in good condition and the play was better. It was a little rough at first to figure out how things rolled but once you got an idea of the play, it was easier to choose a court. If you have the opportunity, you won’t regret spending a few hours playing here.

6 outdoor courts segregated 3.5+. People were very friendly and welcoming. You can scan a QR code from a sign and pay on your phone. $10/day or $25/week. Open play is 9-1pm.

We Went to this court today. Thought these were public courts? We found out quickly they are not. A group showed up of about 16 and we were told that we needed to leave because we were not members. I am not sure where that is posted. Courts are not very nice anyway. So we will find a more inviting place to play.
