Hiawatha Playfield

Great spot for kids sports or walking the track. We used to walk here during covid and it was a great respite then. Even now still a good spot to get your steps and enjoy a nice day. Also nice and well maintained turf for soccer!

Big park that accommodates different recreational activities: a beautiful baseball/soccer field surrounded by an irregular shape 3-lane track, a playground well spaced out and partly in the shade for the kids, as well as tennis courts, a wading pool and a community center. Seems a relaxing place to come out to in the neighborhood.

I took my dog Luna to watch the concert. It was very fun. Edit : Luna passed away a few days after this photo due to a brain infection . Rip my beautiful baby girl I'm so glad we were able to go to the park and listen to music together . I love you

Overall the field is good but it’s not as wide. Parking is difficult to find as google maps does not take you to the parking lot. However if you keep driving around the field there is dedicated parking and you don’t have to park on the streets.

Joined F3, the fitness group for guys that meet here on Tuesday mornings at 0530, and really loved it. Come by if you're looking to get (back) in shape - you'll get a workout and meet some great people from around the area!
