I’ve been playing in Heyday Leagues since 2018 and have had great experiences. The competition is good but more importantly, it’s been a good way to stay connected to friends and meet new people.

One of the top sports leagues in the tri- state area. I’m always involved in either basketball or the intramural flag football league. It’s a organization where you are amongst the community and you’re bound to meet all walks of life whether it’s a different race or background. It’s a place where you can call it home and it’s nothing short of camaraderie & pleasant vibes!

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with the Heyday basketball league in the Lehigh Valley was poor. The communication for the league start date, games each week, and cancellations was late at best. We learned about game times the day before or day of the game. If the website was only updated on the day of the game, you didn't receive notifications about the game. We were supposed to receive a t-shirt for joining the league, but we did not receive one. In most games, we only had 3 or 4 people show up for each team, which meant that only a few games were played as 5v5 or had a sub. The courts at Grange Park are below average. They had double rims, and the baskets are not 10 ft high. I was looking forward to this league and thought it had potential, but it was disappointing and a waste of money and time. I would not recommend joining a Heyday league, even though I've heard better things for different sports and other regions.

Did the soccer league for Heyday in Wilmington and let me say, if you are a free agent skip this league. They don’t care about sportsman ship, they don’t care about your experience as a player or your safety. Every other game we had the referee was high and did not care. I expressed my concerns after the first game about how they were promoting an unsafe environment and people were going to get hurt. Was dismissed and told their was nothing they could do… excuse me you set up this league but sure don’t care about the people with lives, children, jobs etc that are just looking for something fun to do. After they ignored me saying that it was unsafe I then get hurt because of the things I had pointed out to the management. So there goes my leg, my 100 spent on the league, workout classes I had paid for, races I had paid for etc. Whatever things happen. Keep going to games to support my team. Another person gets hurts and has to be taken away in an ambulance. Overall I would skip this league, do something safer that doesn’t put your safety at risk and don’t give money to an organization that doesn’t care about you.

My friends and I use Heyday as the glue to keep us seeing each other despite growing busy with work, moving further outside of the city, and being bogged down with life. We love the chance to have fun with sports and compete for fun of it. Heyday is super responsive and their customer service is far better than the norm for recreational leagues! Worth the money and will continue to sign up each season!
