Hartman Park Community Center

The community center is a jewel in the crown of North Nashville. The staff are courteous and helpful. The Greenway is a joy to hike..the basketball courts are well-maintained. There is a well hidden kayak launch here as well (or at least it used to be). The recently updated playground is a hit with the kids.

Quite surrounding areas with covered picnic tables, walking areas and basketball courts. Full service community center with weight machines also in the fall they have organized little league football games for the youngsters. Jewel + staple of our community with some serious basketball games going on.

Have really enjoyed spending my time at Hartman Park. Met a lot of great men of stature around my age where we gather and in the man cave as we call it, which keeps us young and our minds sharp. Want to thank Miss Gregory and her staff for allowing us to meet. We have a great time talking to our teacher Jamal who’s over the Kicking It Seniors Program (AKA the Original Liars Club) Can’t forget Sly who mans the front desk and fists pumps us daily and always greets us with the upmost respect and knows us all by name starting with Mr

Love this place, do good for the community. The equipment is good, it's a great price and the pool although has specific times is free. There is an outdoor and indoor walking track, has a Greenway walking track, tennis courts outside and a children's play area with basketball courts too.

Great park but I hate that the police training academy is RIGHT there and you can hear gunshots often with children in hearing distance.. I hate that part…otherwise, its a nice place..
