Hagen Park

Very nice park and the people you meet here are also friendly. Plenty of parking, a designated kids area with a fence, tennis and pickleball courts. Clean restrooms, water fountain, and a little book library. Free parking till 6pm only 😏

I had an event on 8/2 and paid for an additional hour rental at Island City Park Preserve. I was told clearly by staff that if I was out by 7pm, I would get my $75 back. I made sure to meet that requirement, but when it came time to get the refund, I was met with nothing but attitude and confusion. Steven (or Steve), the Assistant Director from Hagan Park, was incredibly unprofessional. Instead of helping resolve the issue, he pulled out a vague contract that said nothing about the refund policy. He was rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to assist. The staff onsite were also unhelpful and poorly trained—some even gave me conflicting information. It felt like no one knew what they were doing, and no one was interested in making the experience smooth or enjoyable. Between the disorganized management, the lack of clear communication, and the hassle of dealing with staff who don’t follow through on what they say, I would strongly discourage anyone from booking an event here. It’s not worth the stress or the wasted money.

Nice little park. We really enjoy when they have different events. Not a busy park which is nice and sometimes hard to find here in Florida.

The Pickleball courts were in good condition. Allways you have spare to play.
