Gates Tennis Center

I've taken 2 tennis lessons with Chris Foglia, Asst Dir, and both have been terrific. He made several excellent yet simple suggestions on my 2 handed backhand and didn't over complicate the lesson. For me and my level which is between a 3.5 and 4.0 it's really about emphasizing and reinforcing the basics. Chris recognized this coached me up on my gaps and the vast majority of the time was spent hitting and putting his tips in action. My highest recommendation. The Gates front office staff is always efficient and friendly.

I've been coming to Gates for 20+ years and remiss that I haven't done a review yet. The facility has a lot of tennis and pickleball courts. They offer lessons, leagues (top dog tennis is awesome) and have items for rent/purchase. I tried pickleball for the first time my last time there. It is addicting and I can see why it has become such a popular sport. Similar to tennis but very different it is accessible to people of all ages. Just be careful. They give you quiet paddles to keep the noise down for surrounding businesses and residents. They renovated the space a while back and it is clean and well laid out. Since they are in Cherry Creek the parking can be challenging even with a private lot.

We always have the best time here! The facility is always nice and clean, employees are always nice. Courts are reasonably priced and it’s easy to hop on the website to reserve!

Incredible atmosphere at this tennis center. Attended a clinic and 2 mixers while visiting Denver and had a great experience. The staff were helpful on the phone and in person, they really put thought and effort into organizing the mixers and I had a lot of fun. The facility is well taken care of with cold water available throughout the grounds. Everyone was friendly and in a good mood, this place has it figured out.

You can reserve courts and ball machines online in advance. You can buy or rent racquets, the offer stringing services, and they have a modest selection of shoes. You can also get some refreshments, but it is not a wide selection. They have their teams for tennis leagues, tennis lessons are offered...all at a pretty reasonable cost without a membership requirement.
