This park is a hidden gem. There's also a dog park. Lots of seating but no barbecue grill.

Hosted a picnic on the lawn. It was so relaxing not a lot of people. I loved how the playground areas are spaced out. There’s a volleyball field, basketball court and pickleball courts. Definitely coming back to explore.

Park Name: Galaxy Park Location: 4505 Farm Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89084 Today my child and I went to the Gaxaly Park on Farm and Deactur around 3:30pm to 5:30pm and while he played basketball some kid approximately six feet tall with short hair and a caucasian complexion took his electric scooter. I am reaching out to the mother of this child mother to mother with hope and kindness. If your child came home today with a scooter please reach out as my twelve year old child now has to walk to and from school on a busy street because someone made a choice to take something that did not belong to them. If your child plays basketball at that park we are simply asking that it get returned to us as I am a single mother and cannot afford to buy my child another scooter and it was their only Christmas present I could afford this year and now it is gone with the hope that kindness will prevail.

Galaxy Park is more of a neighborhood park. Smaller than Aliante or Centennial but also less crowded. Kids can be seen from all angles. There are no blind spots which is good if you are allowing your children a little more freedom. There is a sandbox, swings and climbing structures with slides. Plenty of parking. It’s a pretty mellow park.

Over all this park is well designed and the multilevel layout is very cool. The added photos are of playground pieces that are missing hardware and should be marked as unsafe. Hopefully this post helps to get them fixed so we can return and let our children play safe.
