Gainey Village Health Club & Spa

McDowell Mtn location is the best. It is clean - the pools are pristine. The jacuzzi and steam rooms are excellent and well kept. The staff are energetic and positive. They accommodate and listen to clients. Gainey Ranch Village has a pool and are working on getting the jacuzzi up and running, along with the cold bath. The cleaning staff are attentive and detail oriented. The restaurant personnel go out of their way to help. The Gainey Spa are exceptionally helpful and their facilities are superb. Dora is my hairstylist! She’s the best!

Great space , vibes and people! The coaches are knowledgeable, supportive, and push you to be your best. It is fun , it feels like family. Shout out to my amazing coach , Mollie Nemmers who tailor my workout (Pilates) what works for me, I am able to push myself to my limits,,, highly recommended!

Ok. Long overdue review. I thought about what review I will give the entire time I was there. In hindsight I should have canceled my spa day and left when there were annoying cell phones rings and people on their cell phones in what should be a private and relaxing experience. Jarring cell alarms and rings going off is NOT an enjoyable experience I told the ladies I'm not going to complain if they can at least put their phones to silent. Instead they were extremely rude and snippy. And moved to the dressing area which is good because they were using their phones in the relaxation area. What's worse is they still have the extremely loose and moving wobbly railing into pool steps since the before the pandemic. Plus the spa hottub has a loose railing too. An Olympic athlete would easily have an accident or become injured. I screamed and almost fell twice going in as railing is so loose. Guess they are waiting for a lawsuit to finally fix it. And some lady manager from the spa was so rude. Instead of saying sorry about your poor experience and letting rude people be on their phones, came at ME. New owners take heed. Fix the super loose railing in the pool area and enforce no phones in the spa area, both EASY fixes. Even when I was in pool area people were talking on their cell phones. And this is supposed to be one of the high end gyms in the area?

We were visiting family for the Holidays and Shawna could not be more accommodating! She gave us complimentary passes so we could enjoy this amazing and clean facility with over-the-top amenities. Thank you Gainey Village, can't wait to come back!!!!

What a wonderful spa experience and I love that they give you full access to the entire club as well. Everything was truly top notch and I would highly recommend this spa to any of my friends. Cindy's facial was the highlight, but the message and body wrap were lovely as well. For a club of this caliber and size with multiple locations, I would like to see them remove the use of all Styrofoam, single use water bottles, and disposable cups by the bubblers in the gym to reduce their impact on the environment, but other than that this is truly a 5 star experience!
