Frontier Family Park Pickleball Court

So very very new that my phone GPS doesn’t even show the road to get to the new Frontier Family Park parking next to the courts. This place is over the top and beautifully done. I am actually from Albuquerque and came here to warm up because I am playing in the USA Pickleball National Championships nearby at Arizona Athletic Grounds. I have been to many pickleball complexes in several states over the years and I must say that this one is absolutely my favorite now. It is laid out extremely well in 4 pods of 6 courts to allow for Paddle Up play in. The championship court on the end is setup with larger margins around the boundaries and bleachers for spectators. A generous space between the 6 court pods has covered seating for spectators plus some picnic tables. The courts have night sport lighting situated on high poles. And they used post-tensioned technology when pouring the slabs for the courts which means they should not show cracks like those I play on in my city. I would have much preferred to have played my Nationals games on this courts setup versus the bland and no shade of the AAG. Arizona is known for quality outdoor Pickleball facilities and I think this venue is my top choice. Every place that wants to build a quality facility needs to look at all the positives this place hit on.

The pickleball courts at Frontier Family Park are one of the best outdoor courts. The courts are well maintained, have decent amount of space to return serves, shaded seating area and even the lighting is really good. Only thing is paddle up system should be followed better by the players like it is done so well at GRP.

Best place around for friendly pickleball play no hard bangers or rude people at all.

While the Frontier Family Park is not yet complete, the Pickleball courts are excellent.
