My senior parents and I went to the Ft Lowell Park for a picnic and walk. It's an interesting historical military sight. There are ruins of the old fort and historical markers to read. There are quite a few picnic tables under shelters. There's a watering fountain that works. There are eucalyptus trees, a pond, a community pool and maybe a play area at the far side of the park.

We stopped in for about 45 minutes, so glad we did! Sharon, a guide, gave us a phenomenal tour of the museum. She has so much knowledge and answered many of our questions. Take some time & stop by!

We went to a lovely park that had ducks and a pond! The park is only 5 minutes from our home!

We visited on May 4th 2022. We were hoping to see more of the Fort, but the museum and buildings were closed. The shade trees made it nice. We read the history plaques. We really didn't check out the entire park, just the Fort area so I can't speak as to whether it is a nice park. I did find a dead baby turtle and the ants were eating it. We hope to come back when the museum is open.
