So went here to kind of see what was available for future play date. The courts were clean and well tended, prices for renting are reasonable, and the staff was super friendly and courteous. We will definitely play some tennis at Fort Lowell Tennis Courts!

This review is for the tennis courts only. The rest of the park is great, one of my favorites. In fact, the courts themselves looked to be in quite good condition, as far as I got to look before I got tracked down with my son by the gentleman who runs his business here. He was polite and pleasant as he ushered my son and myself to the entrance to read the rules posted there. I still failed to see a rule preventing me and my son from inspecting the courts, wh8ch were entirely empty at the time, though we were invited to a second look. I had lost most of my interest at that point. Another day, when it was posted the courts should be open and there was no foul weather preventing such, I visited the courts again, but they were closed. I was gladly prepared to pay the $5 fee just to see inside one of the raquetball courts, but I didn't get the opportunity. My interest was quickly waning, anyway. Perhaps this is what you're looking for; a semi-private court in good condition to take lessons or have a semi-serious game. Personally, I left to find a truly public court elsewhere in town, which also happened to be in good condition.

I take clinics at Ft. Lowell, the team here has greatly improved my game. Court awareness and foot work have improved my game tremendously. They actually teach the individual by accessing strengths and weaknesses before classes start. Bravo!

Worst experience ever. The guy incharged of this particular ft. Lowell park tennis center has the worst customer service foundations. Was treated like a nobody and literally called a lier. Was not helpfull from the biggining. At one point I got a call from him almost at 11pm, which are not office ours. Any TUSD parent trying to get in I would not recommend this place. Specially if you are trying to get in through any scholarship or foundation funds. Would hate any person to be treated the way I was.

As a taxpayer in Tucson, being required to pay to use these courts is offensive. I had to pay at other city courts, but these are badly cracked, and poorly fenced to keep balls from other courts out. Additionally, paying for a one month membership on one city court doesn't apply to other city courts. That seems like a misuse of our taxpayer resources.
