Florence C Hardy Park & Southside Cultural Center

I just visited their playground and it was wonderful, without doubt, one of the best one I been to. There are 2 big shaded play areas offering plenty of space for the kids to run and play, offering many things for the kids to entertain, from slides, to cute playhouses, to swings, to many other things, even a pavilion that you can rent for parties. It is well kept and clean. There is a big field for sports such as soccer. And even a small area for exercising. I noticed they have 3 main parking lots around it, offering plenty of parking. Now, sitting is a bit limited, so hopefully they’ll add some more benches soon.

What a great park ! So much to do for kids of all ages ! The bathrooms need the same revamp as the park 😅 but our kids had so much fun and didn’t want to leave ! A plus - Great bagel spot in the front (Bagel and Co.).

One of the nicest parks we have found in Fort Lauderdale so far. We moved from Kansas City, where parks are on every corner, and this one matches one of our favorites from there, meadowbrook park.

Fantastic playground to take my 12-month old baby to to burn off a little energy! The best part is, it seems like there are always other babies and older kids around, which gives my baby a chance to interact with other kids!
