Fairground Park

I grew up around the conner. I glad it is still here and prep use it. Alot of those big geese were on the lake. Some of the water was frozen. They were sliding all over the ice. It was wonderful to take a time out

Beautiful Park...hardly no tailgaters lots of families with small children fishing and retirees...just needs lots of updates and lake area needs to be cleaned to much trash ..beautiful cranes ducks geese...all bridges over lakes need to be done again new....still a hidden jewel on plain site

Fairground just redid 6 tennis courts and put in 6 new pickleball courts; we had a great time. Although I wish there was a parking lot near the courts and when the lights came on around dark time most of the bulbs were blown out. But we didnt run into any trouble and still had a blast and will be playing here alot as it's near our house! I jokingly tell my family that these are my pickleball courts because a while back I sent parks and rec an email requesting to turn some of the old tennis courts into pickleball courts and about a year later it happened lol!! So I'm so excited and grateful to the City of Stl employees for taking citizen requests seriously into consideration and taking action to make our city a more enjoyable place to live!!
