Fairchild Recreation Center

Tennis court admin/staff is markedly unreliable, they do not respect visitors time. Courts are locked and with restricted hours, can only enter through a gate. Gate is supposed to open at 9am on Wednesdays and no one showed up as of 9.25am so tennis players are just sitting unable to access the courts.

This facility is being utilized again by San Antonio Tennis Association that I am very happy to be proud of. Courts have been re-surfed and will be. They have great programs for kids. Very promising.

Decent amount of tennis courts, but they need to be fully redone asap. Cracks everywhere and paint job is horrible. There is also a leaning lightpole over court 6 that concerns me.

no tennis after 8pm but pickleball can play till 11 pm...that's so unfair. Less people play tennis because the city gives very little support to tennis. we work very hard and pay our tax's and we need stress release. no help from our local government. why fund these places if your everyday working person can not use them.
