DeWitt Clinton Park

Solid park if you need to burn off kid energy. The main playground is big, modern, and usually pretty clean. The splash pad is a lifesaver in the summer. Gets super busy on weekend afternoons, so aim for a weekday morning if you can. The turf fields are nice for running around. It's a no-frills, functional spot that does its job well.

DeWitt Clinton Park is a really nice and peaceful spot in the middle of a busy area. It’s clean, well maintained, and has plenty of space to relax, walk, or sit on a bench and enjoy the surroundings. The playground and sports areas are great for families and kids, and everything feels safe and organized. It’s a perfect place to take a break, get some fresh air, or go for a short walk. The park has a friendly neighborhood vibe that makes it very welcoming. Overall, it’s a great little park that’s definitely worth visiting.

I walked by this park on my way to a long walk along the Hudson riverfront. Inside the park, I found areas set aside for soccer, paddleball, children’s playground and there was a functioning bathroom but it was not too clean. The park was busy today with a lot of sports events.

I like coming here during the day to walk my steps because it feels safer walking around the athletic field than walking in the city. I don’t own a dog but always happy to see the dog owners and their cute dogs. But it’s an absolute nightmare to be here after sunset because this park is heavily infested with rats. You will see dozens of them in every corner of this park in the evening, they jump out of the trash bins and cross your way aggressively.

Beautiful turf for activists, children’s playground is also big and kept clean. Dog play areas is also well maintained. However the bathrooms did not have toilet paper
