Des Peres Park

Love this park! The paved path makes for great walking. Lots of green space. The lake is lovely. Pavilions, small playground, and real restrooms on site. Plenty of parking. Great location.

This park was quiet, beautiful and had 2 wonderful playgrounds for kids to play on that were new. They had some special play modifications added as well. There was a beautiful lake for fishing 🎣 and a path to walk with a water fountain for you and your pup 🐶. There was absolutely gorgeous grassy areas to lay and read a book or have a picnic. It was truly picture perfect.

There's two separate playgrounds here partially shaded beautiful areas with a splash pad for kids nice pavilions in shade nice lake with water fountains and trail surrounding lake to run or walk on very secluded area off the main road with soccer fields in a baseball field tennis courts

beautiful park 2 playgrounds very nice walking trail, pond, and scenery the bathrooms could use some work 2 out of the 4 stalls in the womans bathroom were out of order

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) Local Guide · Level 7 Des Peres Park is one of those hidden gems that makes you feel like you accidentally wandered into a lifestyle commercial. 🌳✨ Whether you’re walking your dogs (hi, Wooten & Esme 🐾), catching up with a friend, or just need to get your steps in while pretending you’re the main character — this park delivers. 🌿 Why I love it: • Gorgeous walking trails with tons of shade • A beautiful pond with fountains (serene and selfie-worthy) • Well-maintained playgrounds for the kiddos and actual benches for adults to exist in peace • Clean bathrooms. Yes, CLEAN. It matters. The vibe is calm but active — you’ll see families, dog walkers, stroller crews, and solo strutters all doing their thing. It’s the kind of place where people smile at you and say “good morning” like we live in a rom-com.
