Dafoste Park Trailhead has a Beautiful Pathway for the Monarch Butterflies. I am from Pismo Beach California where many of the Monarch Butterflies Migration Happen. Pismo Beach Monarch Dunes Butterflies to Dafoste Trailhead Monarch Butterflies in San Antonio Texas. Beautiful, stunning. I remember when there was no park...it was a just piece of grass above Salado Creek.. I watched them put the Basketball and Tennis courts there, from my front porch...LOL!! I grew up playing in the park when ALL that was there was the Basketball court on one and, the Tennis courts on the other end..with NOTHING in between. Now, with the kiddie playground, it's a very nice place for kids to play, for everyone to shoot hoops or swing a racket, bring your family to barbecue or, just to chill.

It is nice to see the new children's play scapes and sport courts and exercise equipment for neighborhood use. And a connection to the Salado Creek Greenway Trail is great!
