CPX Pickleball

I purchased a paddle from CPX as a gift for my girlfriend. I felt confident that if she didn't like how it played it would not be an issue to return the paddle because of the 90 day satisfaction guarantee advertised on the CPX website. I started the return process and shipped the paddle back to them, I knew I'd be responsible to pay for the return shipping cost, once received the paddle they asked me if I would like store credit to purchase a different paddle but I wanted a refund. No big deal, I understand trying to save the sale, but what I found concerning is that when they issued me the refund they failed to refund the sales tax I paid. I had to follow up with another email asking them why they did not refund the sales tax for them to then issue separate refund for the amount of the sales tax. Maybe this was an honest mistake, but it left me wondering how many other people they have shorted on their returns and if I hadn't taken the time to check the numbers they would have just pocketed the money.

I love the paddle. Got it in 2 days. But I wish they have more options, they only sell 3 kind of paddles, paddle case with logo, eraser with logo and different color grip replacement. But I can’t complain about the paddle it came in a box with good protection.
