Columbia Park & Annex

I recently reflected on Columbia Park & Annex, and it brought back a lot of memories. The last time I visited this place was in 1996, and even thinking back, it stood out as a welcoming neighborhood park with open space and a strong community feel. It was a place where people gathered, kids played, and the park felt like an important part of the surrounding area. Seeing how the park has continued to serve the community over the years makes it special — it’s one of those places that stays with you long after you’ve been there. Parks like this play a quiet but important role in a neighborhood, and Columbia Park & Annex has clearly done that for decades. A solid, meaningful green space with history behind it.

Great location for music in the park. Super trees canopy. The fields can be a bit bumpy and challenging to walk across if you have mobility limits. They were hard on the ankles, and bumps and dips are difficult to see.

Incredible walking park with ball fields, picnic and tennis areas. It’s an outdoor oasis in North Portland. Great for children and pets!

It is a big and peaceful Park. There are two sides of this park separated by the Lombard road. The main park is huge with lots of walking spaces. People were nice and friendly when I visited. There are kids & sports playgrounds, and public restrooms, plenty of street parking spaces.

This is a great park! Family friendly and seems safe. Great happy clean positive environment! We have a great time here! Theirs tons of different play equipment that you don't get everywhere else. Theirs benches and table areas everywhere, and different sections of the park so people can jog, play, have a BBQ or picnick and eat! walk dogs, or dogs can run around through the open fields. It's a very open spread out park !! This place is an all around great place to have lots of fun!!
