Clover Park

The playground at Clover Park features bright colors and unique plastic evergreen trees atop the poles of the large play structure. There are a variety of elements for a variety of users - including the standard swing options - in the fully enclosed play area with a surface of wood chips. It is tucked in the middle of a block on Southport and the park features several large trees.

Smaller yet a nicely gated in neighborhood park. Excellent for little kids as there are two playgrounds and even a fenced in blacktop perfect for playing ball/catch or even just learning to ride a bike or scooter. It's clean, well maintained, and even has free street parking too. While I wouldn't make a trip out of the way to get to it, it's great for the folks that live nearby. 'Til next time, cheers.

This is a great little park tucked in between Clybourn and Southport, with gated entrances on both sides. On either side of the main pathway are small kid and big kid play structures, each with mulch bases surrounded by retaining walls with accessible ramps. There are several sets of swings, and some unique playground features rarely seen elsewhere. With a large tree in the middle, there is plenty of shade in the summer, but enough light in the other seasons. There is an odd fenced-in asphalt area in the corner that was probably once a half basketball court or pickleball court, but doesn't seem to have much of a purpose these days. The only negative of the park may be the constant scent of Pequod's pizza coming from next door.

Great place. I spent most of my adolescent life playing basketball. Many great memories.
