City of Palm Desert Freedom Park

One of the largest parks I've been to in the Coachella Valley, if not THE largest. It has everything, in my opinion, you want from a park. It has a dog park, basketball court, a beach volleyball court, tennis courts, a large playground, baseball fields (2), a football/soccer field, picnic areas, bar-b-que grills, and plenty of restrooms available. There is a lot of fun to be had here. Great park!

Freedom Park has two dog parks, one for small dogs and one for larger dogs. A paved trail to walk around for exercise. The park has great lightning after it gets dark. There also are pickleball, basketball and baseball quarts. The park also has clean restrooms and great picnic areas.

Great place to get cardio in with the pups. Very clean, Great Dog Parks. Restrooms semi okay.

Excellent park, its ultimate downfall are the many people who walk their dogs without leashes. Stay vigilant and be prepared to protect yourself.

A well maintained park with ball fields, a playground and an off-leash area for small dogs and another for big dogs. Nice walkway around the perimeter of the park. There is a poignant statue of a young mother on her knees holding a flag, and looking at her son who is a few steps away. He is looking back at his mom with a toy airplane in one hand and a small American flag in the other, while he casts the shadow of a soldier. Freedom Park.
