Chula Vista Recreation Center

I met several staff and Villages residents when I visited the recreation center. Everyone was very nice and I learned about the ceramic classes and other activities available there. I felt very comfortable and the people were very welcoming. It was a pleasant visit. I will be back.

my first visit as a guest and while the pool area is well kept, the other folks enjoying the pool area were not very friendly (only one older couple even returned a smile). even on a Saturday the pool-police was on duty....she not only wanted to see my pass but my photo id as well. I suppose that’s her job, no problem- I had both. I’ll try again during the week, maybe folks are friendlier on a weekday. ;)

Great ceramic class. Lovely pool. Attentive staff. Beautifully landscaped and meticulously manicured landscape. I will be spending more time there.

One of the many neighborhood recreation centers in The Villages Florida. This Center has a room for shooting pool and snooker. There are 2 meeting rooms. One for games and the other, larger room is for large meetings and activities. It also has a kitchen for use. And restrooms. The whole center is handicapped accessible. The recreation area outside has a large adults-only (over 30 yrs old) swimming pool, This was updated to a more resort style pool and cabana area. There are also shuffleboard courts, bocce courts, a sand volleyball court, tennis courts, pickleball courts and cornhole. They recently added 2 picnic areas and a fire pit. There is also an outdoor restroom. Each of these areas has an equipment locker to borrow gear for each sport. There is plenty of parking and all areas are are very well maintained.
