Christian Park Center

The staff at Christian Park Family Center are so kind! This week they were doing a craft making viewing boxes for the eclipse. They also have amazing rental prices to use their spaces for events. I took a picture of the rental information.

This facility has gone downhill but it is not the fault of staff, but management. I have never seen an administrator so blatantly disrespectful towards their CNAs. As a nurse myself, CNAs are and will forever be the backbone of healthcare. They are not expected to act like robots which is what this facility is wanting. Management is continuing to fill beds not to help or because they care, but because of money. I can’t begin to imagine how unappreciated the heroes working the floor feel. While you’re admitting people who should be in protected communities for the safety of themselves and staff, the floor workers get the brunt of it. All you do is sit in your air conditioned office without even offering to help. Very disappointing and sad because there is no compassion or humanity at all. Shout out to all of the nurses and CNAs who still show up under these conditions because they ACTUALLY care and want to help these people.

The park itself is great but lots of kids left unattended on the playground which is concerning in today's times. Also, we went there and tried to have a small baby shower and someone was allowed to take 8 picnic tables leaving only one by the basketball courts where there was a bunch of dudes cussing at each other and talkin smack of course. So I suggest you reserve a banquet hall or something for something like what we did.

I'm glad they have a water park kids can get in. There's not really anything the kids around here can do, especially when it's 90 something and the humidity is 102. We appreciate the water there. Thank you
