Visiting Arizona on holiday from the UK, where Pickleball is becoming very popular, we brought our paddles hoping to play. Having posted on Arizona Pickleball on FB and received lots of suggestions for where to play we dropped in at Cholla Park yesterday afternoon, having played golf at Cholla in the morning. Lovely set up. There were a couple of courts in play when we arrived, so we just watched but as others started to turn up we were encouraged to join in and had a lovely, fun time playing with the local players for an hour or so, thanks folks.

Great place to play Pickleball from beginner to advanced. You will always find a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and are sure to make new friends. Parking is tight, especially on weekends when you share with baseball and other sports activities. You can always park across the street, however exercise caution when crossing, traffic moves fast.

Started playing as a new PB player at Cholla park last year. At first I felt intimidated however the people there were friendly and welcoming. Parking lot is small so parking across the street is an option especially when there are baseball games. There are not any signs for level of players anywhere however more experienced players seem to play on the West side and newer players on the East. Players are welcome to play either side. Everyone is pretty friendly so my husband and I have met many new friends this year playing here!

This was my first time at Cholla Park and was told good things about it and brought my partner who had never played a game yet and everyone was very inviting and nice and it’s a great place to play with people and learn the game. Barb and Steve were very welcoming along with a whole other group of people and it was just made it very comfortable and an awesome fun friendly atmosphere.

Nice set up will run good open plague I would say be tough to find a 4.0 player, but the competition is good. If you’re looking for some outside Pickleball during the nice weather get there early gets busy.
