Chip’s isn’t just a pickleball facility — it’s a full-blown community hangout. The leagues are organized and competitive, the Crazy 8s format is pure genius, and their social events actually make it easy to meet people instead of awkwardly standing around with your paddle. The CT Summer Send-Off Tournament was the perfect blend of serious play and good vibes. What really makes Chip’s different is everything off the court. You can grind through games, then grab a latte or cocktail from the café/bar, challenge someone to a match on the giant chess set, or hit the cold plunge and sauna for recovery. They even have kettlebells lying around, because of course they do — it’s that kind of place. The decor is intentional and stylish — clean lines, warm lighting, paddle art, plants — it feels like a modern clubhouse instead of a warehouse with nets. If you’re in the Twin Cities and even remotely into pickleball, Chip’s is the spot.

My first time experience at Chips was top notch! Looking for a place to get some work done, I plopped down at the coffee shop area. After admiring the scenery of this place, I grabbed a coffee which was hands down one of the best I have had! The staff are quite friendly and the atmosphere is a fun to be around! You should definitely check this place out whether you’re needing to grab a coffee to catch up with a friend or to play a fun round of some pickleball!

We played pickleball for the first time ever tonight and it was so fun! We took a one hour semi-private lesson with Tim and it was informative as far as rules and fundamentals and we learned several basic shots and how to serve as well as some footwork and how to properly hold the paddle. We had a great time, got in some good activity, and feel like we have a solid foundation. Tim gave excellent tips, helpful feedback, and has a friendly and approachable personality. We definitely recommend!!

My husband and I have played at several indoor facilities around the United States and chips tops them all. They have several very large changing rooms, plenty of places to sit and converse between games. The courts are individually fenced with benches inside to store your items. The check-in process is flawless. They have a very large bar with an awesome vibe. The court surface does play a bit slower as the ball does not bounce super high But that makes for fun strategic play. Ceiling height and lighting are also fantastic, really top-notch facility. Well done. We played in the 4.0–4.5 Advanced play and the competition was great.

I attended a Women's Skills and Drills clinic on Wednesday, December 10th. Linette Ramsey was the instructor. I enjoyed her enthusiastic teaching attitude. She always had a smile on her face and provided very helpful feedback and encouragement throughout the session. She would stop to ask if we had any questions and answered them with positive feedback. She made me feel extremely comfortable as I am a new player to pickleball. I learned many helpful drills and tips that I will be using as I continue to pursue the fun activity of pickleball! She is very knowledgeable and professional. I will most definitely be taking more clinics with her as the instructor!
