Chevy Chase Playground

Shady playground, pleasant neighborhood parents, fun splash pad, and something unique: tons of toys for toddlers that parents leave for the general public to use. There are also four separate playground structures -- fun for kids of different ages. The baseball field is very nice and often not in use.

The playground areas are decent, but the splash pad area is awful. It's filled with tons of old, broken toys and most of the water jets also seem to be clogged. The drains aren't working properly so you're standing in water ankle-deep and it's flowing outside of the splash area. It's really unfortunate because it could be such a nice place to play and cool off.

It's a lovely place to bring kids, they have plenty of things for them to do. On summer time, it's a splash park. Kids love it! Street parking free.

Perfect for children under 7 years old. But the Bathroom Oh My God needs an urgent renovation please this is Chavy Chase

The large portion of the playground is great for toddlers and younger children. The “big kid” playground could have had more to do. Took away a star for the entire playground being littered with other people’s toys they’ve gotten sick of and dropped here. While my kids made their own fun with all the toys dropped there, it feels like folks don’t really respect the playground.
