Chaparral Park

I love Chaparral Park for its walking trails, pond, and big shady trees. I often bring my kids in the early evening to feed ducks or ride their scooters. It’s quiet yet lively enough to feel connected with nature.

Super cool park! I loved all the ducks and pond. They had some different playground toys. Definitely great for Pokémon go players! I’ve attached part of the map for that as well so trainers can see what’s there. 10/10 would go again.

Nice park. We walked the perimeter as well as the trails around the golf course.

Came here for the trail around the lake. It’s about a mile around the lake and 1.5 if you go around the fields. Roomy path to walk/run and people were courteous with their space and letting you know if they were passing. Came around 8am. Nice breeze and plenty of people fishing. Great little spot to hang out or get a good work out in.

Few years ago fishing was great. But the past 3 years fish n game seems to don't care about the over population of these birds that eat up all the fish. Soon as they stock it with trout well the very next day all the fish are gone by these birds and no fishing for adults and kids. I stopped fishing here theirs no fishing anymore the birds eat them all up. Birds have tripled in over population
