Center of Clayton

It is a great gym, but it's not 24 hours, and its extremely expensive, compared to other local 24 hour gyms.

Nice community center. Has oasis meetings here as well. If you don't live in the area fees are higher. This center It has multiple gyms, a two swimming pools. A rock climbing wall and meeting rooms. Cardio areas, weight areas, fitness rooms and a hot tub. Four gymnasiums and a suspended walking path. They offer childcare group exercises and there is a subway here.

I love the Center Of Clayton. It would be 5 STAR if some attention was paid to the weight room. The place is clean, the staff are amiable, the competition pool is kept to a high standard and lane hours are not restricted (Except during competitive swim meets for a few hours on occasion) so you can get a lane without a problem. The basketball courts are also kept to a very high standard. Nice rubberized track. The weight room & particularly the machines could be better. There are Multiple machines that are never used and just take up space. A number of popular machines there are only one of so you have to wait. A second machine would solve the wait problem & getting rid of the not used machines would create space for machines that would be utilized. Rest rooms and showers are also kept clean. I do love and recommend the Center Of Clayton

Great rec center with nice basketball courts. Price is good and even in the evening it's usually not too busy. Not a big commercial gym but it has 4 squat racks and 2 bench press, which I never have trouble getting. The high school gets out around 3 so it gets busy from 3-4, but they are pretty nice and respectful kids. For local people looking to workout and play basketball, I would definitely recommend.
