Catalpa Park

This was a pretty nice park here in Boise. The have a moderate amount of playgrounds for the young tykes to play on. They have a small basketball court for trying your skill on sinking a lot of hoops. And for the future tennis stars they have a pretty nice set of tennis courts to play on. The trees are pretty mature which means lots of shade on the real hot days. The grass is pretty good and very cool to run barefoot here but wast out for bees and wasp as they like the green grass as well.

Nice little neighborhood park with a good set of toys for younger children

We were navigating art studios in the area and decided to stop here for lunch. It was great to have a quiet place to eat our picnic.

There is paved parking, a restroom, Horseshoe pits, a public art installation and a great big toy. The big toy was missing a connective tunnel between two pieces of the toy, it's blocked off by plywood and that makes the flow of play a tad awkward. There is a sweet stand alone firetruck and swings.
