Once you take muni and get to this part of the town, you could either take a walk around St. Francis Woods or walk all the way down to the Ocean Beach. Nice urban hiking route!

Carl Larsen Park is a great park nestled in the Sunset. It has nice public bathrooms and a great playground. Furthermore, it has a baseball and large grass field to play various ball games in. The playground is airport themed and it’s cool to see it’s influence on the park. There is also a big rock that was apparently donated by someone.

Carl Larsen Park is a perfect park for family, sports, and pets. The area parking is a challenge. The 19th avenue corridor is busy and vehicles often drive to fast. The baseball field is well kept and the children's play area is large enough for 25-50 children. The bathrooms are working and clean. The park is a 10 minute drive West to Ocean Beach ⛱️.

Pickleball here is great. Drop in system and everyone is friendly. Primarily doubles. It does get super packed on weekends and evenings. The park looks a little small and underwhelming for kids over 5.
