Villages Recreation Center that is well maintained with friendly staff. My wife and I attended a Starbucks seminar presented by some of the staff of the Lake Sumter Starbucks Store. This 1.5 hour presentation is a great bargain for $2 and includes several give-aways. Different coffees are tasted and proper coffee brewing techniques are discussed. Sign up early as these presentations sell out quickly.

It's a very nice family-oriented Rec Center painted in coral and white.. this Regional Rec Center has five Shufflebiardl courts with seating area covered for patrons..Also, it has four Bocce courts with non shaded seating area. Behind those courts there is a covered area with 6 picnic tables underneath. To the opposite side are multiple pickleball courts.. it has the usual size pool for a regional Rec Center with the usual chairs and tables. There is a covered side for lodging when not wanting to be in the Sun. The only problem is when the Sun goes down that area faces the sunset and it can get quite warm underneath.

Great little Recreation Center. Clean, well organized, welcoming. It’s the monthly meeting location for the Son’s of the American Revolution (SAR). The organization meets on the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m.

Been a part time resident for over 12 years. The pool is discolored always looks like it has algae in the bottom. A lot of the tiles are missing. Many of the chairs have broken straps on them. I know that many of the pools have been refurbished so why hasn’t Sanibel?

I went there for a Holiday Buffet. Everything was nice and the food good but I always had the feeling that something was off. The buffet was we'll stocked and everything was fresh but the layout was all wrong and cumbersome. It seemed everything I moved I was about to bump into another guest. They tried to hard to make it all look good with no concept of traffic flow. At the tables the staff was very efficient in keeping the table clean but you could die of thirst waiting for a drink. The Holiday Season is all about tradition but the desert table went for the flair and not the tradition. The deserts were very good but everyone that were up returned to their seats wanting something more.
