Candler Park Tennis Courts

My 13yo likes to hang here with his friends. There are several courts and a wall to practice against. Courts are great for tennis, pickleball, or soccer-tennis. Courts are divided Individually by tall fencing, wich is great for both the experienced and novice athlete. Additionally the courts never seem to be too crowded. A hidden gem in Candler Park.

These tennis courts are fantastic and very well kept. No pickleball lines, but that's typical for most tennis courts. *** IMPORTANT *** Dekalb courts operate by RESERVATION, so if you do not reserve your court a few days in advance, you can be kicked off by someone with a reservation!

Four courts all resurfaced in the past two years. Separate hitting wall & working water fountain. But no bathrooms. Reservations are not possible; it's always first come first play. Courts are traditional hard courts, play a little quick. In the world of free public courts, I think these are the best inside the city.

Great spot to play tennis. Courts are well maintained but do have a few cracks in them. Also has lights and a practice wall which are both huge pluses. It can get crowded but I’ve never had to wait more than 30 minutes or so for a court.

Public. Accessible. With a wall. Played there for two years and never had any issue with anyone. Professional coaches do hog the courts occasionally but they will accommodate you if you wait a little
