Easily the most family friendly community in Atlanta. Neighbors care for each other and are heavily invested in athletic and social activities. When they aren’t using the Brittney pool or playground, our kids enjoy running the nature trails with their friends, canoeing and fishing from the dock.

This is a very nice facility. I would definitely join if I lived in the neighborhood. But if you do not live in the neighborhood, do not get on the waitlist to join. They accepted our $100 four plus years ago, but now they never even acknowledge that I am on the list or return my emails. They have since added a note that basically says "don't bother if you're non-core" to the website...so that gets them 2 stars instead of one but seriously don't even try if you're non-core.

I grew up here but I have not been in the new Clubhouse. The pool is still closed for the season. Silver Lake is peaceful. They have cleared out a lot of the overgrowth along the water line. There also seems to be walking trails through the woods.

Exceptional Tennis & Swim Club. This is a private club serving mostly the Brittany neighborhood, but as well as some others. They have clay tennis courts, pool with slide and diving board, and a splash pad. The clubhouse is available for rent, which is perfect for parties of up to 75 people. The first year initial fee is quite expensive, but after that it is fairly affordable and worthwhile investment for families with kids. The lake and trails in front – Silver Lake – are run by a separate membership based organization called Silver Lake Civic Association. It is $75/year to join and use the lake for either fishing or boating.

Attended a party in a nice upstairs room. I assume this is a private club for the community. The pool was big and many families were still hanging around past 8:00. There were tennis courts and a grassy area.
