Great walking trail around the lake. Quiet with lots of seating. It also has a playground and an exercise pad with equipment. Very peaceful out here and clean. Safe too.

Lots of beautiful wildlife. A great place to walk around, relax, fish, or just watch the birds fish. All of Florida's best water fowl hangout here.

The park itself is small but beautiful. The homeless people tweaking on the trail is awful. Not a safe place for children at all, not even sure why they bother with a playground. I'm just constantly looking over my sholder. That's the only reason why I can't give it a good rating. I suppose the abandoned hospital right behind it is the main issue. I understand that people need a place to live but I won't be bringing my kid here anymore. I felt like I was intruding on their property as opposed to walking in a public park.

This is generally a beautiful park in terms of nature and structure. The workout equipment is a little rickety, invasive vines really need to be removed to improve the health of the cypress, and there were a few sketchy peeps, but it's generally nice.
