My Family lives near Winstead Park. We love going there and taking our dogs for a walk. However, there is a water issue there. The trail is always filled with big puddles. I was wondering why they can’t water at night so that the puddles will be soaked in by the time people are ready to enjoy the park. My dogs get all muddy and my kids too. Other than that, we enjoy all the parks in Boise.

As a Boise native, I have seen Julia Davis Park transform over the years. We recently reserved a pavilion for a company picnic and the facilities were immaculate. I hadn't been to Julia Davis in many years and the last time I was at a picnic (same place, same facility) it was awful. There was goose droppings everywhere and we spent the first part of the event sweeping so this time I arrived early prepared to do the same thing. I was pleasantly surprised that the place was so clean. There were no droppings, the option for recycling is wonderful and I can't believe how big the trees are and the shade they provide. Thank you for taking care of the park!

Normally my family and I greatly enjoy coming to Ann Morrison park, but this morning I had a troubling encounter with one of the park's employees. This older employee was cleaning the restrooms when I approached the women's restroom, he came out of the men's restroom, saw me going into the women's and he made a rude expletive remark. After I had been in the restroom for only a couple of minutes, I could hear him outside the door making very rude comments. He even went to my car to ask my husband how long was I going to be. He then started banging on the women's door. I came out, saw him standing right by the restroom door and told him how rude I thought he was being. He then chastised me for taking 10 minutes in the bathroom and reminded me that this isn't a hotel. We're hard working, tax paying citizens and do not deserve to be treated with such disrespect. I can't help but wonder what the Parks and Recreation employees are told about respecting the park visitors. Very disappointing, today's park visit.

I would say that Juilla Davis Park is OK, But when you have drunk individuals that put up a tent and sleeping and your camping behind the children's play ground. It's called safety Hazzard and the safety for the children and parents. Be advised on this area of the park.
