I’ve been to this park a few times now and it’s really nice, the walking loop is perfect for anyone into fitness, with areas for pickle ball, horse shoes, shuffleboard and more. The kids playground and splash area relatively new and looks like fun for the kids. The bathroom area is the place to avoid, the times I jogged/walked by there was clearly shady stuff going on inside and outside with people looking strung out.

Visited for the first time, Playground area is fully covered with an awning and fully lit, makes it comfortable for these summer days! Splash pad is pretty large and really cool. As a parent i had fun running in it w my kid. The bathrooms were a bit dirty, at least they were stocked with toilet paper! It did look as though the homeless are using it as their home kind of, there was alot of clothes, shoes, and a shopping cart in there. There are homeless in the area but they dont bother anyone. They do wash their clothes and take showers in the splash pad area while kids are playing but they dont do any harm or stare, not like other comments. I dont mind. My kid wears water shoes and im always with them so I know theyre safe and so am I. Plus youre next to a fire station and a Rec center. You'll be fine. Its the upper east side, if you know, you know. There was quite a lot of garbage in the water and playground area. But there was also someone walking around picking up trash with a grabber stick. This may have just been a kind civilian as they did not look like an employee. There is minor graffiti and some damage to the playground but you see that at every park. Overall its really nice, the grass areas are huge, perfect for a picnic or a family gathering, soccer, football, any outdoor sport really. Will be visiting again, we usually leave as the sun starts to set before it gets dark :)

Brought my kids here but too many homeless people sitting watching them play is uncomfortable. This park was probably nice a couple years ago now its trashed and run down.
