Baristo Park

The playground is under construction right now (Feb 2025). We chose a hotel close by so we could easily visit the playground, so that was disappointing to learn. Looks like it is a lovely shaded play area with some grass when it is not fenced off and having the play equipment replaced though!

Quiet and nice place to sit at picnic tables and eat. Great little place to bring the littles. Nothing like the laughter of a child.

It's okay. The playground is satisfactory and the water at the drinking fountain is potable. The basketball court is fine, and it's probably a good idea to have a fence between the park and the wash.

The park is great! My kids love going there. It's kept pretty clean and the play ground toys are fairly new! The only draw back is there is quite a few homeless people that camp out in the grass area.

The city installed huge canopies over the playground to keep the swings and slides and other kiddy toys so they don't get burned by the hot metal or plastic play yard things. They installed cameras and audio so they can view the goings on in the park at all times, they chased out the drugs and losers and returned Baristo park to is real name instead of Heroin Park which is been called for years now.
