Pickle & Chill

Pickleball is saving my life. Does this sound extreme? Sure. Am I lying? No, but let me tell you more. I learned pickleball in winter of 2022. But hadn’t found consistent games in the winter, and the spring the parks were busy but it was hard to find games. That summer Pickle and Chill ran a summerpass promotion and my life was changed, seeing as I haven’t stopped going since, and have spent countless hours here. This is through and through my “third place”. I’m down 80 pounds because I can’t stop playing and look forward to the next time I get to play. I have met hundreds of really amazing friends. This place is bigger than just a place to play pickleball, it’s the best facility in Columbus to play pickleball, because the people who are here foster an amazing community. They have hosted many professional tournaments with APP and the MLP, of which all have been super fun to volunteer for while getting to see the top level pros perform. There are open plays, special events, leagues, clinics, drills, and more that you can sign up for with my favorite open playing being the Friday night Sip & Serve. I really encourage anyone wanting to learn to play, or who has been playing, to check it out.

Participated in a 3 hour open play the day before Thanksgiving and had a blast! Would highly recommend it if you get the chance. Great facilities!!

My husband and I went for date night and it was so much fun! We took a couples lesson with Eric and he taught us a lot about the game!

Bread&Butter owners Doug/Julie stopped by with their newest paddles (the Loco line). They had elongated, hybrid & standard demos for people to try out. Great people & Great paddles. If you have not tried Bread&Butter paddles be sure to give them a try you won't be disappointed. P&C has done some improvements to the facility with fencing, lights and paint all enhancing pickleball.

Had an awesome experience at Pickle and Chill doing the Introduction to Pickleball class with Eric. He was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the class fun and easy to follow for all skill levels. I took the class with my son, and it was a fantastic way for us to learn the game together without feeling overwhelmed. Great atmosphere, great instruction, and a perfect introduction to pickleball. We’ll definitely be back next time we are in Columbus!
