Austin has several tennis centers in town which give an almost country club like experience. The courts are good, you can reserve them, there’s an office, which can string rackets, sells drinks, and can book lessons. Austin Tennis Center is a little bit farther out than most of them, but it has an enormous number of courts so it is the easiest one to book courts at. The booking process is not great, as the website is a little bit clunky, but if it’s not working, you can just call them and book it on the phone. Their lighting is excellent, and if you play pickle ball, Austin Tennis Center has installed several Pickleball courts, which are always busy. This is our go to location if we’re trying to book courts at the last minute.

The pickle ball courts here are a disaster. The markings are not proper and the outdoor courts barely stop the wind. The red lines in the image are the markings for the court which is confusing as well.

ATC is awesome! I play pickleball and I been playing for 4 years. Lincoln, Kick, Chandler and Hector are super nice and professional. I highly recommend!

Courts are in excellent shape for pickleball. Well organized games. Friendly and efficient staff. Very reasonable price.

Quite frankly, I did not play tennis on these courts. However, the courts did look quite nice. On the other hand, Austin Tennis Center is a nice starting spot to run on the Walnut Creek Trail. I’ve run many sections of this trail and I enjoyed this section the best. You get great views and great challenges with the hills. There isn’t anything too intense but if you’re looking to go for a longer run or bike ride, this is a great starting point.
