Austin Sports Center - Central

ASC central is a well kept basketball and volleyball facility. They have four large full sized courts and foldable bleachers. They also have a small visitors section on the second floor for spectators to watch the game from above. They have always been super accommodating for the dodgeball league I am in, and we’ve been happily playing here for years. It can get busy in the parking lots, but neighborhoods next door usually have street parking right next door. Plan to get there about 10 minutes early if you haven’t been here before just in case the lot is full

Beautiful courts but if you have a tournament here please arrive early Because parking is limited and it gets to crowded well-maintained restroom food and drinks is available inside

Decent sized sports gym on the south side of austin. Ample seating, but parking is atrocious. Be prepared to walk through sketchy areas to get to the gym after parking.

It’s a decent sports center for volleyball and basketball, they recently renovated some of the courts. As other reviews , parking is limited here. But this review is for the very unprofessional staff that works here, yes most people who work here are very young but please train your staff better to respond to injuries. I’ve seen many times in basketball league when an injury involves blood, there’s no adequate items to properly clean up blood on the courts. Literally front desk girl just gave us a roll of paper towel to clean up blood with no gloves. And she gave my team attitude for not knowing where the first aid room was and blood was gushing down my face from an open laceration. I came back after finding the first aid room to ask another question and she was upset like we were such a bother to her to even ask for help. Please retrain your staff!!!

Attended a taekwondo tournament. Easy to get there. There is limited parking but found a spot close to the entrance. Clean and well maintained.
