Ashland Recreation Center

We took swimming lessons here for the 6-month to 3 years group and it was great. Clean facilities, warm pool area and lovely teacher and rec staff!

They hosted a kids event for parents to be able to have a night out. There was pizza and games. Thats a win

The Rec center side is just now open again post-covid! It’s got a pretty well equipped weight room for a Rec center (2 squat racks!), and I’m pretty pleased this is within walking distance. I believe the pool side has a few more weeks before reopening.

Gone here for the lap pool only. The pool is small 3 lanes of the short course, so up to 6 people as I have not seen anybody swim in circle pattern yet. There is a huge rec pool ( I wish was the other way around). Facilities look like new and super clean. Maybe too clean: the pool has a lot of chlorine so pack goggles.

I use this gym exclusively for weightlifting. It has all the basic machines, cables, dumbbells, barbells and cardio equipment you need. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Can be a little busy in the afternoons but normally don't have any problems getting equipment I need. Wish they had Hack squat and t bar row machines. Can get warm in the summer with subpar AC/fans.
